CARROT CAKE LASSI

DESCRIPTION

This is a colourful and incredibly healthy smoothie that takes just a few minutes to prepare. The inspiration comes from an Indian style Lassi and we use ground turmeric and carrots for their health benefits. The recipe is boosted by our fresh natural yogurt and the addition of ginger gives it some interesting warmth.

INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp grated Root Ginger
500ml Trewithen Dairy Yoghurt
100ml Carrot Juice or Steamed Carrot
100g Mango
1 tsp Turmeric
50ml Coconut Water
Juice of 1 Lime
1 tsp of Honey [optional]

METHOD

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth.
For this recipe, you can use either carrot juice or freshly grated carrot.
