Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective production planning strategies to ensure on-time manufacturing and delivery of products.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Monitor production progress, resolve scheduling conflicts, and adjust plans as necessary.
- Analyse demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels to optimise production efficiency.
- Work closely with sales, operations and logistics to balance supply and demand requirements.
- Implement and oversee production planning tools and software to enhance scheduling accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and increase efficiency.
- Analyse, challenge and escalate stock variance(s) including 3PL managed warehouse.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Analytical skills with experience in data analysis and forecasting.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong (intermediate) levels of excel including root cause analysis.
