MOLTEN MOCHA CAKE

MOLTEN MOCHA CAKE

The great thing about our molten mocha cakes is that they are soft and gooey in the middle and perfect with pouring cream for a luxurious dessert. We use old tea cups but ramekins, mugs or miniature pie dishes will all work. Have fun by dusting with chocolate sprinkles or icing sugar before serving.

CELTIC COFFEE WITH PUMPKIN PIE WHIPPED CREAM

CELTIC COFFEE WITH PUMPKIN PIE WHIPPED CREAM

The Celtic connection to the Ireland from Cornwall is a strong cultural heritage often reflected in our food and drink with a love of good beer and whiskey. So in this recipe we have given a nod to the famous Irishman St Piran, also the patron saint of Cornwall, with this reinvented Gaelic Coffee. Using winter flavours for the colourful Trewithen Dairy Cornish whipped cream and a good strong coffee base this is a drink to be enjoyed next to a roaring log fire.

The sugar in the coffee is a key ingredient as it helps make the coffee denser so that the cream floats.

Freak shakes – The Eden

freak shake

The worldwide Freakshake phenomenon began in a small café in Adelaide,South Australia as an out of control milkshake stuffed to the brim with chocolate and confectionary. Working with Trewithen Dairy, TV Chef James Strawbridge adapted the idea into a “healthier” version using fresh fruit and dairyproducts to create a wild and colourful milkshake experience.

Here is The Eden, inspired by the Eden Project’s eco-friendly ethos. Its gorgeous appearance is reminiscent of a beautiful summer’s day, and it contains the colourful super-food turmeric for a welcome energy boost.
